Bar Fridge Dimensions: A Size Guide With Real Width, Height and Depth Ranges

Bar fridges come in a huge range of sizes, so checking the dimensions before you buy matters more than the litre count alone. This guide shows the real width, depth and height ranges across our catalogue, grouped by size, so you can see what to expect and what will fit your space.

Bar fridge dimensions by size

All measurements are exterior dimensions in millimetres, taken from the product specifications:

  • Mini, up to 50 litres (28 models): about 350 to 520 mm wide, 370 to 500 mm deep and 462 to 785 mm high.
  • 60 to 70 litres (33 models): about 430 to 460 mm wide, 445 to 500 mm deep and 605 to 960 mm high.
  • 89 to 132 litres, single door (38 models): about 470 to 600 mm wide, 500 to 595 mm deep and 650 to 875 mm high.

Examples at a glance

Bar fridge height

Under bench models are the shortest. Many glass door units in the 89 to 132 litre range stand 650 to 875 mm high, which is why they suit under bench fitting. Skinny upright models go the other way: the 160 litre uprights are about 1,880 mm high but only 390 mm wide. See our slimline bar fridge guide.

Bar fridge width

Width decides whether a fridge fits a gap. Minis are around 350 to 520 mm, single door fridges mostly sit between 430 and 600 mm, and double door units are about 870 to 900 mm wide.

How to measure your space

  • Measure the opening width, depth and height, at the tightest point.
  • Allow ventilation clearance the manufacturer lists, which can add to the space you need.
  • Allow for door swing, especially for hinged double door fridges.
  • Check doorways and hallways on the way in, particularly for tall uprights and wide triple door units.
  • Remember adjustable feet add a little height.

Bar fridge dimensions FAQs

What is the standard size of a bar fridge?

There is no single standard. The most common single door sizes in our range are around 46 to 70 litres for minis and 89 to 164 litres for under bench models.

Will a bar fridge fit under a bench?

It can if the height and ventilation suit. Compare the fridge height with your opening, and choose a front-breathing model for enclosed spaces.
